iH8sn0w released sn0wbreeze 2.6.1 earlier today bringing untethered jailbreak support for Verizon iPhone 4 iOS 4.2.7. Sn0wbreeze 2.6.1 is now available for download.
Stefan Esser's untethered exploit, which has been previously used to jailbreak both iOS 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 untethered on GSM iPhones, is not easily reversible and hence has not been included in sn0wbreeze 2.6.1. iH8sn0w actually went back and tried p0sixninja's and p0d2g's kernel based exploit for iOS 4.2.x and found that it exists in iOS 4.2.7 for Verizon iPhone 4 as well. So a payload was made and put in sn0wbreeze 2.6.1, now allowing you to fully jailbreak iOS 4.2.7 untethered on your Verizon iPhone 4.
How To Jailbreak Verizon iPhone 4 iOS 4.2.7 Untethered Using Sn0wbreeze 2.6.1
The instructions for jailbreaking Verizon iPhone 4 iOS 4.2.7 are exactly similar to those for jailbreaking iOS 4.3.2 on GSM iPhones, using the previous release of sn0wbreeze. First download sn0wbreeze 2.6.1 (link below) and follow the detailed instructions given here.
