Let's be honest. While everybody has their own reasons for jailbreaking iOS devices, many of us only do it for loading free cracked iOS apps on our devices or those apps which have been rejected by Apple for inclusion in the iTunes App Store. However, those who are familiar with this concept would know that iTunes does not sync these jailbroken apps. So whenever you upgrade to a newer firmware, you'll have to manually install all of them again. xBackup, a new Cydia app puts an end to that. xBackup will automatically backup and restore all your jailbroken apps on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
First, download xBackup from Cydia. Now before you upgrade to a newer firmware, simply run xBackup and tap on Backup. Now connect your iOS device with iTunes and sync your device. iTunes will then backup all of your jailbroken iOS apps as well. After you have upgraded the firmware on your device and jailbroken it, proceed to download xBackup again from Cydia and simply tap Restore to get all your jailbroken apps restored on the device.
xBackup however, does come at a price. You can download xBackup from the BigBoss repository in Cydia for $1.5.
