The folks at BGR seem to have snatched an awesome scoop on the iOS location tracking bug hoopla that is surrounding Apple these days.
Their sources have confirmed that the Cupertino-based company is working heavy and hard to release iOS 4.3.3 that will contain a fix for the location tracking bug. The release will be pushed to users through iTunes within two weeks or even earlier. The new version of the OS will address the following issues:
- The update will no longer back up the location database to iTunes.
- The size of the location database will be reduced.
- The location database will be deleted entirely when Location Services are turned off.
Moreover, it will also include battery life improvements and some bug fixes for the iPod Touch.
