For long we have been reading about the iPhone location tracking issue that Apple is going to fix in iOS 4.3.3 release. Apple claims that your iPhone is not logging your location. Rather, it’s maintaining a database of Wi-Fi hotspots and cell towers around your current location, some of which may be located more than one hundred miles away from your iPhone. All of this is done to help your iPhone rapidly and accurately calculate its location when requested. While this issue has sparked many privacy concerns, Next Media Animation TV (NMATV) from China has made a funny animated video demonstrating this whole location tracking issue.
NMATV is a well known animation firm from China. In this video, they've humorously shown how the whole iPhone location tracking issue surfaces and what its repercussions are on the average iPhone user. We've embedded the video below for your viewing pleasure. Take a look and let us know what you think !
