Sn0wbreeze, which is considered as the unofficial PwnageTool for Windows has recently been updated to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 untethered. Sn0wbreeze also uses the same untethered jailbreak exploit from Stefan Esser, that has been implemented in Redsn0w and was previously used to jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 untethered. This tutorial will teach you how to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 untethered on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch using sn0wbreeze 2.7. Bear in mind that you can not jailbreak iPad 2 as of now.

- Now Supports iOS 4.3.3 [untethered] (except iPad 2)
- Multitasking Gestures are enabled in the settings app as usual.
- Ultrasn0w works with previos working baseband.

If you rely on a carrier unlock for your iPhone, it is imperative that you retain the old unlockable baseband whenever you update to a newer iOS firmware version. Sn0wbreeze preserves the baseband. If you’re not worried about baseband upgrade, then here’s how to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 untethered using Redsn0w. The process is relatively easier than that required to be done on Sn0wbreeze.

Step 1: Download the respective iOS 4.3.3.ipsw file for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
Step 2: Download Sn0wbreeze 2.7 for Windows. Extract the file and run Sn0wbreeze.
Step 3: In the bottom right corner, there’s a blue button with an arrow on it. Click that and on the next screen, either browse for the 4.3.2.ipsw file or simply drag and drop it from the location.
Sn0wbreeze will then verify the iOS 4.3.3.ipsw file.
After Sn0wbreeze successfully verifies the ipsw file, it will display the following message:
Step 4: Now click on Expert Mode followed by Build IPSW. Sn0wbreeze will now start cooking the custom iOS 4.3.3 firmware.
As you wait for Sn0wbreeze to cook the custom iOS 4.3.3.ipsw, you might as well play Pac-Mac to kill some time.
Once Sn0wbreeze has successfully made the custom ipsw file, it will display the following message:
Step 5: Now before you proceed any further, it is time to put your device in DFU mode. Sn0wbreeze will then display instructions on how to put your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in pwned DFU state. Follow them carefully.
First hold both the Home and Power buttons together for 10 seconds. Then release the Power button but keep holding the Home button for another 10 seconds. Your device should have entered DFU mode by then. If you’ve followed all the steps correctly, this message will be displayed:
Step 6: Start iTunes. Select your particular device from the sidebar. Press and hold the Shift key and click on Restore. When a new window pops up, release the Shift key and select the Sn0wbreeze cooked custom iOS 4.3.3.ipsw file.
Step 7: Wait patiently as iTunes is working. It will take iTunes considerable time to install custom iOS 4.3.3 on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch so just bear with it and don’t try to be over-smart when iTunes is working on its on. You shall see a progress bar underneath the Sn0wbreeze logo appear on the screen of your device.
Once the process completes, your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch will be fully jailbroken, untethered, on iOS 4.3.3.
