Ever wondered if it was possible to use your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch while it was being synced with iTunes? Well it has always been possible, thanks to a jailbreak tweak named Synchronicity. Synchronicity eliminates the hassle of waiting for iTunes to complete syncing with your iOS device, before you can use it. This guide will tell you how to use your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch while synching with iTunes. Oh, and it costs $2 to purchase from Cydia.

However, bear in mind that for Synchronicity to work, you first need to jailbreak your device. Don't worry, we have you covered. Here’s how to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 untethered using sn0wbreeze 2.7 (windows),pwnagetool 4.3.3 (mac) and redsn0w 0.9.6rc15 (mac/windows). If you’re on iOS 4.3.2, here’s how you can untether 4.3.2 jailbreak using sn0wbreeze 2.6(windows), pwnagetool 4.3.2 (mac) and redsnow 0.9.6rc14 (mac/windows).

Step 1: Launch Cydia.

Step 2: Tap the magnifying glass in the bottom right corner and type Synchronicity.

Step 3: Install Synchronicity.

Step 4: Now connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your computer and start iTunes. When iTunes starts the backup, you'll get the following message:

That's it! Your iOS device can now be used whenever it is being synchronized with iTunes. Notice the sigma sign that appears up top. This is to let you know that your device is being synchronized with iTunes. It will disappear when iTunes completes synching.
