Full screen browsing on Safari is enabled through a jailbreak tweak available in Cydia called FullScreen for Safari. If you want full screen Safari browsing on iPad, there's a similar jailbreak tweak called FullScreen for iPad. However, for both of these tweaks to work, it is imperative for you to jailbreak your device. To get FullScreen for Safari on your iPhone and iPod touch, simply run Cydia and search for FullScreen for Safari. It is hosted in the BigBoss repository. FullScreen for Safari will cost you $2.19.
Once you have installed FullScreen for Safari, your device will automatically respring. No new icons are added inside Safari or on your homescreen. The Settings.app has the customizable preferences. There are toggles for making the buttons in Safari transparent, starting Safari in full screen by default and keeping the status bar in full screen.
You can also set what different gestures do inside Safari. FullScreen for Safari's preferences give you a broad range to choose from and select gestures and their respective functions as per your liking.
