A little while earlier, Apple made iOS 5 beta 2 download available for all registered developers. Alongside iOS 5 beta 2 release, Apple has also rolled out a new beta of iTunes. iTunes 10.5 beta 2 is now available for download.

iTunes 10.5 beta 2 comes with the usual performance improvements and bug fixes. iTunes 10.2 beta 2 is needed if you are upgrading your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to iOS 5 beta 2. iTunes 10.5 beta 2 also brings support for those iCloud features that aren’t supported by the public iTunes 10.3 beta. Regardless of the fact that iTunes 10.5 beta 2 is only available for download to registered developers, we'll be providing you with free iTunes 10.5 beta 2 download links here.

iTunes 10.5 beta 2 now triggers wireless syncing of iOS 5 beta 2 devices on Macs. It requires that your Mac be running OS X 10.6.8 or Lion, which obviously isn't available right now. Also, iTunes 10.5 beta 2 won't sync with devices that have iOS 5 beta 1 installed, they will have to use iTunes 10.5 beta 1. Hi Lota Man!!!!! if my UDID is already registered when i did the original installation of IOS 5.0 beta 1 then i dont need to go through the workaround activation process while upgrading to beta 2 right, i just need the updated beta 2 ipsw file for my phone and itunes 10.5 beta 2 and working internet connection and the upgrade will be as flawless as it was before …..Kindly confirm ( please note that my UDID is already registered by you guys for beta 1 update )

i think i figured it out. when i updated to beta 2 on my phone it forgot the wifi network so make sure both devices are connected to the same network before trying?

In order to enable wifi sync, you must upgrade your mac operating system. you need 10.6.8. I have 10.6.7 and it didnt show it, once i did the software update, everything went smoothly from there. Anyone had any luck on a windows system with beta 2? I know theres no wifi sync but does the update work fine other than that?

bahaha! the comments on here are soo funny man, android users are leagues ahead of you apple clowns… i have 5 beta 2 running on my ip4 and i must say steven handjobs is taking a step in the correct direction with iOS 5

many android cloned features, but i must say apple did make them super clean and slick.

def. digging iOS 5! but android is where my heart is… so much more raw and powerful… you can really do just about anything no itunes no sync, just drag and drop manage how you please.

Enterprise level the iphone is a better device, because it offers pretty much any VPN support (PPTP, Ipsec.. etc.) and is file, and block level encrypted…. Android… ehh maybe IceCream Sambo they will catch up.

Overall android is more powerful.
