iOS 5 beta 2 download is now available for all developers registered in the Apple Developer Program. This is the second pre-release version of iOS 5 beta for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 1G, 2G, Apple TV 2G and iPod touch 3G, 4G.
Previously, iOS 5 beta 1 was seeded to developers on June 6th, at WWDC 2011 where it was announced. iOS 5 brings amongst a slew of other features, a brand new notification center, iCloud and Apple's new cross-device messaging platform iMessage.
iOS 5 beta 2 download is now available for all registered developers. iOS 5 beta 2 comes with a host of bug fixes and performance improvements. Battery life has been improved across all devices.
But before you get to updating iOS 5 beta 2 on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, bear in mind that iOS 5 beta 2 fixes the workaround that was used to activate iOS 5 beta 1 without a UDID. So if you're not a developer and have downloaded iOS 5 beta 2 from the various links available on the internet, it is advised that you do not update to iOS 5 beta 2 as UDID activation is a must, which is sold on the internet. (FYI: we're offering free UDID activation)
