It looks the iPad 2 jailbreak may really be releasing soon. We've just heard that developer of the iPad 2 jailbreak solution JailbreakMe 3.0, Comex has just confirmed that he has run out of bugs to fix in JailbreakMe 3.0 meaning that we just might soon be able to jailbreak iPad 2 on iOS 4.3 to 4.3.3.
Only yesterday we reported that Comex had updated JailbreakMe website and that it was possible for release to occur in the *very* near future. We recognize the fact that anxious and prospective iPad 2 jailbreaks have heard this for far too long now, but believe us, this time, iPad 2 jailbreak release IS coming very soon.
Comex wrote the following on Twitter:
Running out of bugs to fix.
Short and sweet. This one sentence is definitely points to an early iPad 2 jailbreak release on iOS 4.3 up till 4.3.3. Also, those of you who are running iOS 5 beta 1 or beta 2 on your iPad 2, please note that you won't be able to jailbreak your iPad on that firmware. For that you need to at least downgrade your firmware to iOS 4.3.3 before you can jailbreak the iPad 2. You should also save iPad 2 SHSH blobs, because after the public release, downgrading from iOS 5 is going to be impossible.
We just hope that the release happens soon. As iPad 2 jailbreakers have waited for far too long now. Stay tuned to iPhoneism as we'll definitely report once JailbreakMe 3.0 iPad 2 goes live.
