Only a couple of days ago we had reported that Comex, developer of JailbreakMe 3.0 iPad 2 jailbreak was very close to release his iPad 2 jailbreak. Now it turns out that one of the beta testers of iPad 2 jailbreak via JailbreakMe has leaked the jailbreak.

Apparently, this leaker was able to jailbreak iPad 2 by downloading a pdf file in mobile Safari on the iPad 2. This file contains the exploit developed by Comex and will jailbreak your iPad 2, allowing you to access Cydia and all its goodies.

So if you're really impatient for the iPad 2 jailbreak, you might as well download the pdf file, by simply pointing mobile Safari on the iPad 2 to http://ryanlobbins.com/Saiz/saffron/iPad_4.3_8F191.pdf, that is if you can't wait for Comex to officially release it at jailbreakme.com.

However, do keep in mind that this iPad 2 jailbreak is currently in beta version, meaning that it is bound to have some bugs and also will only work on WiFi models of the iPad 2 at the moment. You may also notice that Safari will crash on your iPad 2. So it is advised that you wait until Comex irons out the final bugs and officially releases it.

If you did download iOS 5 beta 2 and restored your iPad 2 to it, we did warn you that JailbreakMe will not jailbreak iOS 5. For that purpose, we told you to at least save your iOS 4.3.x SHSH blobs for JailbreakMe iPad 2 jailbreak as downgrading firmware from iOS 5 is going to be impossible soon. This will be implemented when Apple rolls out the GM build of iOS 5. So downgrading from iOS 5 is going to be impossible and JailbreakMe doesn't even support the first and second beta of iOS 5. Save iPad 2 SHSH blobs using TinyUmbrella before you upgrade to beta firmware.

Don't worry if you have upgraded your iPad 2 to iOS 5 beta 2. Apple is still signing iOS 4.3.3 so downgrading to it will only require you to connect your iPad 2 to iTunes and then click on Restore. iTunes will automatically restore your iPad 2 to iOS 4.3.3, which is the most recent firmware on Apple's servers. You can then proceed to jailbreak iPad 2 using leaked JailbreakMe beta.

We don't know about you, but we are definitely trying it out right now. A detailed guide as well as a video tutorial will be posted up soon to help you out with the process. Meanwhile, the video from the leaker has been embedded below.

1) Just turn off WiFi in ‘Settings’ and open Safari again.
2) Safari will tell u that page can’t load, that’s good!
3) Then go to your Safari Tabs and close that mediafire link or whichever page u were on when trying to download that pdf file.
4) Turn on your WiFi again in ‘Settings’
5) Launch Safari and you’re back in business!

Damn, I really kept my iPad in 4.3 to be sure that I can jailbreak it asap. But I have a iPad 2 3G so this beta doesn’t work for me. I guess I can wait a little bit longer

No, unfortunately there is no way to revert back to iOS 4.3.3 if you did not save SHSH blobs.
