Those who can't wait for UDID activations, follow this tutorial in order to install iOS 5 beta 4 without a developers account.
Install iOS 5 beta 4 on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch without Developers Account:
Step 1: Download iOS 5 beta 4 ipsw for your iOS device and also download iTunes 10.5 beta 4 so that your device is able to be synchronized.
Step 2: Restore your device to iOS 5 beta 4 but don't set it up. Before you do that, it is imperative that you jailbreak it. Follow this guide to jailbreak iOS 5 beta 4 on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Keep in mind that this won't work on iPad 2. After jailbreak is done, boot the device tethered.
Step 3: Now you need to go in to the filesystem of your iDevice so that you delete a key and a string. Download i-Funbox for Windows or iPhone Explorer for Mac to navigate into the filesystem.
Step 4: Run the software and follow this path: filesystem/library/coreservices/systemversion.plist. Upon locating this .plist file, Right click on systemversion.plist and then open it in notepad. This is what you have to remove: <key>ReleaseType</key> <string>beta</string>. Remove this key and string and then save it.
Step 5: Now reboot your device. Since its jailbroken, you'll obviously have to boot it tethered. Your device will now work perfectly fine on iOS 5 beta 4 without requiring a UDID registration. Those using iPhone will also be able to access cellular services.
*Note: Software unlocked iPhone users should stay away from stock firmware at all costs as you will lose your unlock. Factory unlock or carrier locked iPhones users can try this out without any worries.
