iH8sn0w has released iFaith v1.2.1 with added support for grabbing iOS 4.3.4 and iOS 4.3.5 SHSH blobs and the iPod touch 2G. You can now download iFaith v1.2.1 for your Windows PC. No Mac OS X variant has been released yet, though the developer claims that it is coming soon.

iFaith happens to be the first public SHSH blobs dumper for iPhone, iPad 1 and iPod touch. iFaith grabs the saved SHSH blobs from your device and stores them on your computer as well as backing them up to its remote server. iFaith also allows you to build signed ipsws using those saved SHSH blobs, hence making firmware downgrade as easy as firmware upgrade using iTunes.

iFaith v1.2.1 release notes:

  • Added iPod Touch 2G Dumping capability (MC-Model users recommended)
  • IPSW Creation for iPod Touch 2G is still a work in progress.
  • Fixed exe compression issues (resulting in many DFU loops on IPSW creation).
  • Fixed any Windows XP issues.
  • Source code coming soon to a github near you! : )

Please keep in mind that iFaith does not work with the iPad 2, as it is not susceptible to the Limera1n bootrom exploit. iFaith supports iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 2G, 3G, 4G, iPad 1G and Apple TV 2G.

After you download iFaith v.1.2.1 from the links provided below, follow our detailed tutorial posted here on how on save iPhone, iPad, iPod touch SHSH blobs using iFaith.
