When you jailbreak your device, Cydia is automatically added to it. Cydia is often referred to as the unofficial app store as various sources, often termed as repositories, host content that would not be allowed by Apple. Here are some Cydia sources that you must install on your jailbroken iPhone, iPad, iPod touch.

Cydia Sources:

1. The Big Boss source for iOS 5:

This particular Cydia source tops our list because soon enough it is going to be the most sought after repository considering the fact that iOS 5 public release is due in a couple of week. Do keep in mind that this is not the official BigBoss repository that is install by default in Cydia. The Big Boss repository hosts jailbreak tweaks for Notification Center as well as SBSettings for iOS 5.

2. ModMyi source:

The ModMyi Cydia source is the best repository if you are looking for jailbreak tweaks, themes, wallpapers, sounds etc. The whole repository is literally overflowing with such content and is updated on a daily basis with even more content!

3. HackYouriPhone Source:

This Cydia source is also a great place for themes, tweaks and animated lockscreens that are compatible with jailbroken iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. This Italian source is particularly good for iPod touch 4G and iPhone 4 owners as they can find a lot of HD lockscreens in HackYouriPhone repository.

4.P0dulo Source:

P0dulo isn't that popular amongst all other Cydia sources however this repository hosts some amazing content which includes but is not limited to ringtones, tweaks, games and themes.

5. Pushfix Source:

The Pushfix source is yet another repository that hosts a wide variety of jailbreak tweaks. However this source is a must have because it hosts TCP Optimizer tweak, which when installed greatly improves YouTube streaming on your jailbroken iPhone, iPad, iPod touch.

6. YourCydiaRepo Source:

In this particular Cydia source you will either find free jailbreak apps or paid ones. YourCydiaRepo also plays host to some very interesting jailbreak mods and hacks. Its not one of those Cydia sources that host themes, wallpapers, sounds, ringtones etc.

7. Hackulo.us Source:

Hackulo.us Cydia source is probably the most widely used repository. It is famous for hosting Installous, AppSync and Crackulous. You won't find themes, wallpapers etc in this repository.

8. BiteYourApple Source:

Yet another one of those Cydia sources that hosts wallpapers, themes, hacks, mods, ringtones and sounds. The BiteYourAppe source also hosts files of the Hackulo.us repository that we have mentioned above.

9. Ryan Petrich Source:

This is the repository of known jailbreak tweak developer Ryan Petrich. This source contains some pretty amazing jailbreak tweaks and hacks.

10. iPhoneCake Source:

The iPhoneCake repository is similar to the Hackulo.us repository but instead of hosting Installous, it has a similar app with similar functions called AppCake which is widely used to install apps and games on jailbroken iOS devices.
