With less than 24 hours to go till the Let's Talk iPhone media event, the conflicting reports are still pouring in. Vodafone Germany has mentioned iPhone 4S in 16, 32, and 64GB models as well as an 8GB iPhone 4. There was no mention of an iPhone 5.
This report is truly conflicting as earlier last month, Vodafone Europe accidently confirmed the existence of a 16 and 32GB iPhone 5 in black and white colours. Now we have Vodafone Germany mentioning the rumoured iPhone 4S with greater storage capacity as well as the cheaper 8GB iPhone 4 on their online store, but not even a single word about iPhone 5.
In the past few months we have heard rumours about an 8GB iPhone 4 and a slightly refreshed version of the iPhone 4, the iPhone 4S which was initially said to be released alongside the iPhone 5. However increasing evidence is not supporting an iPhone 5 release, rather only yesterday we saw a leaked 8GB iPhone 4 and received multiple reports of iPhone 4S release.
The iPhone 4S is not hard to believe as lately there has been an abundance of rumours supporting the fact that an iPhone 4S will be released on October 4th either solely or with the iPhone 5 or 8GB iPhone 4. The iPhone 4S is said to have an A5 dual-core processor with greater RAM and increased storage memory. Design-wise it is going to be similar to the iPhone 4. On the other hand, the cheap 8GB iPhone 4 is said to be Apple's attempt to enter the mid-range smartphone market. The 8GB iPhone 4 will be having less on board storage but will run heavily on iCloud.
At the moment, there's a lot of confusion as to what device(s) Apple is going to release tomorrow. Will we see the launch of iPhone 5 + iPhone 4S? Or maybe iPhone 4S + 8GB iPhone 4? Will Apple only release the fully redesigned iPhone 5 and prove all of these reports wrong? These are questions that will only be answered when Tim Cook takes the stage at Apple Town Hall Auditorium in Cupertino California tomorrow at 10 am Pacific Time. We'll be covering the entire event live, so do join us for next generation iPhone release! Do check event timings for your location so that you don't miss out on it.
