Today Adobe Reader for iOS devices was released. While the app doesn't exactly bring any new features that weren't available through a host of third party apps, its nice to see that Adobe has finally released their official Reader app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
Adobe Reader is widely used to open PDF files on our computers. It is perhaps the most user friendly PDF reader out there. The fact that PDF format is preferred by individuals, companies, corporations, schools etc all around the world, there's a constant need for us to have access to a good PDF reader. Almost everyone who lives and breathes in the 21st century has an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and by releasing the official Reader app for iOS devices, Adobe has made sure that people don't rely on third party apps for opening PDFs on their devices, or even Apple's iBooks for that matter.

The UI of Adobe Reader for iPad seems slightly better than Adobe Reader for iPhone or iPod touch primarily because the iPad has bigger screen real estate which allows an enhanced reading experience.
Adobe Reader app have now been released on the App Store and is compatible with iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1 and iPad 2, iPod touch 3G and iPod touch 4G. Your device must be running iOS 4.2.5 or any newer version. Best of all, the Reader app for iOS devices is absolutely free.
