Soon we will be able to download Photo Booth on iPhone 4S. A developer by the name of @appled3v is currently working on a Photo Booth port for iPhone 4S.
Photo Booth originally appeared as an app on Mac OS X based computers. Last year when Apple released iPad 2 they ported several Mac apps to the iPad. iMovie and GarageBand as well as Photo Booth were officially ported to Apple's latest tablet. Currently there is no official way to download Photo Booth on iPhone 4S. However this developer is hopeful that he will be able to release Photo Booth port for iPhone 4S soon enough.
Surely iPhone 4S owners would appreciate having Photo Booth on their latest Apple smartphone. The iPhone 4S is almost similar to iPad 2 sans the high quality camera and impressive 9.7-inch screen size. Both having 1GHz dual core A5 processors with 512 MB of RAM. While this port is still far from complete, it will indeed be awesome having the ability to download Photo Booth on iPhone 4S.
The developer behind this project has been able to natively port Photo Booth to iPhone 4S. It should be kept in mind that this has been done using a jailbroken iPhone 4S. Since the jailbreak for iPhone 4S just came out, we're bound to see many great apps/tweaks and this is just one of them. The premise of Photo Booth app is quite simple actually. You can take pictures using the front or back camera and apply pre-set filters from within the app itself. The developer has revealed that not all of the effects have successfully been ported. There exists a substantial resolution difference between iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Surely an iPad app will need to be resized while not compromising functionality. This is exactly what the developer is working on right now.
Let's see when we're finally able to download Photo Booth on iPhone 4S. The developer is doing one heck of a job.
