There is a lot of anticipation surrounding Apple's 2012 iPhone 5. While we don't know what the company might end up calling it, a source reveals that Apple's next iPhone is ready for production at Foxconn facilities in China.
Apple released iPhone 4S last year regardless of the fact that a revamped iPhone 5 was heavily rumoured. The iPhone 4S is similar to iPhone 4 in terms of design. With that in the past, Apple will release an iPhone that is going to be different in terms of design as well from its predecessor. Little is known at this point in time about the 2012 iPhone 5, but as always we're welcoming rumours with open arms.
A source for 9to5Mac claims that the 2012 iPhone 5 is now ready for production. This source hails from Foxconn in China. The source also claims that there are a number of samples at the production facilities and it is not yet certain which one is going to be the next iPhone. These samples are slightly different from each other. However they do have some similarities.
All of the samples have a screen that is of 4 inches at least. Contrary to popular rumours, all of the samples are not teardrop shaped which means that they, the previous rumours. regarding 2012 iPhone 5 design are probably false. The form factor of these samples is not similar to the iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 in any way, which is a good thing. One thing is for certain though, no one knows as yet which one is the real deal.
One must not forget that this information is a rumour at this point in time. We can't be absolutely sure about anything. A summer launch of the 2012 iPhone 5 is rumoured, possibly sometime around WWDC 2012. Can't wait to see what Apple is hiding up its sleeves.
