Cue the song ‘Celebration’ by Kool & The Gang! Virgin Media have beaten their competition according to their loyal supporters voting for them public surveys. ISPreview.co.uk organized a study in which over 1,000+ responses were sought by a random selection of individuals.

With their successes including signing the two greatest Olympians of our generation, Virgin Media are on the rise like cake-mix packed with self-raising flour. The news that Usain Bolt and Mo Farah have joined Virgin Media is now known worldwide, so if this new piece of information begins to circulate in the same way, is it possible that even more people will choose Virgin Media broadband?

30.5% - chose Virgin Media

20% - chose BT

14.5% - chose Sky

5.2% - chose TALKTALK

1.4% - chose Orange

17.5% - could not decide! Now this was before the survey was completed. It brings us back to the old people-sheep scenario. I wonder, how many of the 17.5% of undecided people would choose Virgin Media now that they’ve seen the ‘big six’ results? It would be a fair choice to make considering its what everyone else has chosen, because a percentage of that 30.5% are likely to have researched everything about Virgin Media broadband and found the ins and outs, advantages and disadvantages and deemed it the best service for them.

In a more presumptuous situation, it might just be assumed that 48% of customers would choose Virgin Media, which is like taking over the world as far as home broadband is concerned!
