Apple has just seeded iOS 6 beta 2 to developers. Registered developers can now download iOS 6 beta 2 IPSW for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch from Developer Portal. If you are a non-developer and would still like to try out iOS 6 beta 2, read on below to find out more.
At WWDC 2012, Apple unveiled iOS 6. Yet another major update to its iOS platform since iOS 5 was released back in October last year. iOS 5 was then the biggest update ever to Apple's mobile platform. It came with over 200 new features and completely redefined the way we used to know iOS devices. Back then it was thought how Apple would build on this amazing feature and how exactly will it amaze us with iOS 6. Well, Apple has surely done that.
iOS 6 is amazing to say the least. The first beta of iOS 6 was seeded to developers right after WWDC 2012. After having tinkered with it, I came to the conclusion that Apple has done remarkable things with this piece of software. iOS 6 beta 1 is surprisingly a lot better than the first beta of iOS 5, which is extremely buggy. iOS 6 is feature packed, which have already been discussed in great detail.
The main objective now is to download iOS 6 beta 2 IPSW for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Registered developers can do that immediately by getting the required IPSWs from Developer Portal. For non-developers we'll be adding direct download links of iOS 6 beta 2 as soon as they are finished being uploaded to servers. That's not all though, a fair amount of pre-requisites are required before your iOS device is capable of running beta firmware.
In case you're a non-developer, you'll need to get the UDID of your iOS device registered by someone with a developer account. Running beta firmware on a device that is not registered can be harmful and is not recommended. There are many online services that register UDIDs for a fee, however we here at iPhoneism have a tradition of giving out free UDID registration slots. We are doing the same this year as well. Participate in our free UDID registration program and you just might get a free UDID slot. If you don't know what a UDID is, follow our guide on how to find UDID of an iOS device.
That said, we shall soon be uploading links so that you can download iOS 6 beta 2 IPSW for your iOS device. Keep checking back here soon. If you want to be in the loop, follow our updates on Facebook.
